About
I’m a San Francisco-based storyteller with a passion for turning complex ideas into compelling narratives. I blend my journalism background and creative writing expertise to craft content that resonates, whether I'm creating conversion-focused copy for tech products or developing a multimedia environmental justice project.
My approach combines technical precision with creative vision—I'm equally comfortable optimizing content for SEO as I am developing a brand's unique voice. Having worked across media, nonprofit, government, and tech sectors, I bring a versatile perspective to content strategy challenges.
As a lifelong learner, I thrive when diving into research, analyzing data, and conducting interviews to uncover the stories that matter. I’m adept at making the most of today’s AI tools but, as a language-lover, I relish the creative process, and know that drafting and problem solving are where we uncover the seeds of great stories. My forthcoming novel, The West Façade (Santa Fe Writers Project, 2026) reflects my commitment to narrative craft that extends beyond my professional work.
What drives me: collaboration that sparks new ideas, curiosity that leads to better questions, and content that makes a genuine impact. Whether you're looking for a strategist who can see the big picture or a writer who delights over finding the right word, I bring both to the table.
Experience
Identifying the seeds of great stories is my favorite part of the editorial workflow. From Slack to Google Design’s UX for the Next Billion Users to Ask CFPB, I’ve created content that drives engagement on high-profile, public-facing websites and their channels.
I’m passionate about maintaining consistent Voice and Tone across platforms and have a track record of creating and enforcing editorial style guidelines for various teams.
Wagtail, Wordpress, Drupal, Django, and SquareSpace CMS systems are familiar friends.
Crafting clear and snappy copy for menus, buttons, and various content taxonomies is a creative challenge I'll take up any day.
My experience spans continents, cultures, and languages. In Ecuador, I worked with the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador, one of the largest indigenous organizations in Latin America. I collaborated with the CONAIE Communications Director to develop online communications strategies and produce website and social media content.
I have an eye for detail and the discipline it takes to meet deadlines.
As a fiction and creative nonfiction writer, I'm always absorbing my surroundings and asking questions. I love understanding why people make the decisions they do.
